ManyTek in Ghana: Building Practical Cybersecurity Pathways
Ghana is ManyTek’s first program location outside the United States.
ManyTek is working with Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) in Accra on practical cybersecurity training. Applications for the first Ghana cohort opened in October 2026.
We are building step by step, with Ghanaian institutions, using the same practical approach we use in the United States.
Why Ghana
Ghana has a growing digital economy and strong institutions to work with, which makes it a natural first step for ManyTek in Africa.
What the program is designed to include
Hands-on, team-based security exercises; review of completed work by instructors; mentoring; and career preparation.
Building local trainers
A Trainers-of-Trainees programme to prepare Ghanaian instructors is in development, so that teaching capacity grows locally over time.
