Africa Cyber Workforce Network

The Africa Cyber Workforce Network is ManyTek’s plan for a group of training hubs across Africa that share the same standards, practical exercises and employer connections. Ghana is the first location. The wider network is planned and not yet operating.

Shared standards

The same training standards and practical approach in every location.

Practical training

Hands-on, team-based security exercises at each hub.

Employer connections

Introductions to employers in each region where opportunities exist.

Why Now

Why Africa

Africa’s digital economy is growing quickly, and so is the need for skilled cybersecurity professionals. ManyTek wants to help close the gap between learning and practical readiness.

Digital Growth

As more services move online, more organizations need people who can protect them.

Practical Skills

Employers look for people who can apply security knowledge in practice, not only describe it.

Institutional Demand

Governments, financial institutions and companies need cybersecurity talent with practical skills.

Planned Model

How the Network Would Work

Shared standards

Common training standards and curriculum across locations.

Shared practical exercises

The same hands-on security exercises available to every hub.

Local partners

Each hub built with universities and institutions in its country.

Learner-controlled records

Reviewed records of practical work through the ManyTek Workforce Cloud, which is in controlled pilot.

Employer connections

Introductions to employers where opportunities exist. Hiring decisions belong to employers.
